Real Estate Company

We will review considerations for real estate professionals including local numbers, call routing options, voicemail-to-email, and business texting.

Local Numbers

Among the several types of business numbers, such as toll-free and international numbers, local numbers are the best choice for most real estate businesses. When adding a local number, it’s important to choose a local number in the area where you will be conducting business:

1. Start by clicking on Main Numbers from the Dashboard

2. Click on Main Company Numbers

3. Click on Buy Numbers. Select Local

Call Routing Options

Ensure you never miss important calls when callers dial your main business number. There are a few ways to ensure that callers are always greeted and routed to the right destination:

Call Forwarding

Being accessible on-the-go is an important part of the job. You can configure call forwarding settings to ensure no calls are missed when you step out of the office. When you setup call forwarding here are some options you can take advantage of:

  • Leave voicemails on forwarded numbers
  • Forward direct calls only
  • Keep original caller ID

Auto-Attendant

Enhance the appeal of your real estate business with an automated greeting system that efficiently guides callers to the appropriate department or individual.

With the Auto Attendant feature in place, your incoming callers will initially receive a warm welcome from your virtual receptionist. Following this greeting, they will have the option to dial an extension to reach their desired destination. Alternatively, you have the flexibility to direct calls straight to a designated user initially. If the designated user is unable to answer the call, it will be seamlessly redirected to the virtual receptionist. Moreover, you can also configure calls to skip the auto-attendant entirely, routing them directly to a user, and, if necessary, to their voicemail box should they not respond.

Voicemail-to-Email

When you’re getting slammed by callers about your new listing it’s hard to answer every call. Voicemail to Email allows you to receive voicemail messages in your email inbox for quick and convenient access, even when you're on the go. You can set up Voicemail to Email by editing your voicemail settings and adding the recipient's email that you want your voicemails to be sent to.

Text Messaging

Realtors can leverage business texting as an effective communication tool to enhance their client relationships, foster leads, and streamline their operations. Before you hit the ground running, here are the necessary steps you must follow:

  • Create an opt-out process to ensure your clients can opt-out at any time

After implementing the following steps, you can harness the benefits of business texting. Below, you'll find strategies employed by fellow realtors to streamline their business operations and enhance the client experience:

Lead Follow-Up: Follow up with leads via text to nurture the relationship, share active listings, or schedule viewings.

Appointment reminders: Send text reminders to clients about property showings, meetings, and important dates.

Transaction Updates: Keep clients informed about the progress of their real estate transactions, such as when an offer is accepted or when documents are ready for signing.

Survey Requests: Solicit feedback from clients after property showings or transactions through quick SMS surveys to gauge satisfaction and gather testimonials.
